What is an energy label?
An energy label shows at a glance how energy-efficient a home or building is. The label usually ranges from A (very energy-efficient) to G (very inefficient) and is based on characteristics such as insulation, glazing, heating system, ventilation and any sustainable installations. A certified energy label is drawn up by an accredited energy consultant in accordance with applicable European and national regulations.
How do I apply for an energy label?
Through Global Energy Label, you can apply for an energy label entirely online. You enter your address and building details, upload relevant documents if necessary (such as construction drawings or photos), and choose the desired turnaround time (standard or urgent). A certified energy consultant then checks your information, performs the calculation and registers the label in the official system of the relevant country.
How long does it take to receive the energy label?
As standard, we deliver your energy label within 5 working days after all required information has been fully submitted and confirmed. Do you need your label sooner, for example for a sale or rental agreement? Then choose our urgent service. For urgent requests, we generally deliver the energy label within 48 hours, on working days and provided that your file is complete.
How much does an energy label cost?
The cost of an energy label depends on the type of property (house, apartment, commercial building), its size and the country in which the property is located. In addition, a surcharge applies for urgent requests (48 hours). During the application via Global Energy Label, you will always see a clear price quotation in advance, so you know exactly where you stand before you confirm your order.
Is an energy label legally required?
In many European countries, a valid energy label is legally required when selling, renting or completing homes and buildings. The exact rules differ per country, but in most cases the energy label must be available as soon as a property is put on the market and when signing the contract. Through Global Energy Label, we ensure that your energy label is drawn up and registered in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations in the relevant country.

During the application process, you can easily select the country in which your home or building is located. We only offer energy labels in countries where we meet all legal requirements and can cooperate with accredited experts.

What are the requirements for partners?
Partners of Global Energy Label must meet the legal requirements and quality standards in the country or region in which they operate. This means, among other things, that your consultants are certified according to national regulations, that you work with up-to-date software and methodologies, and that you are willing to report in line with our quality standards. In addition, we expect a professional customer approach, transparent communication and timely delivery of energy labels.
